I have no idea why I pre-ordered this book because I said in my review of the last book in this series (Secret Identity) that I wasn't sure I'd read any more of them. I wish I'd paid attention. In this book the drama/thriller part was just way too over the top to be credible. The premise is that the h is a restaurant critic, whose identity is a secret, and she gives the H's restaurant an extremely bad review. He sets out to find out who she is and why she is trying to take him down. The H gets his friend to investigate her and he arranges to bump into her at a coffee shop accidentally. He asks her out on a date and their relationship develops from there. This part I'm fine with. Then there is a secondary plot where the h has been taking care of her sister's 8 year old child for more than a year. The sister has disappeared and we are lead to believe that it could be that the boy's father, a US senator is threatening her.

We have 2 sub-plots going on the first being the sabotage of the H's restaurant and the second involving the boy and people following the h around.

Honestly the book wasn't well executed, there are grammar mistakes and I found the whole thing quite implausible.

I am now down with both this and the Pride series as I think the author is now churning out her books without paying attention to quality.

Tommy is so cute. I like it went the author includes kids in the story and a little thriller. I highly recommended this book as a great read.
Love this book, just like all the other ones I have read from Jill Sanders. They are not easy to put down, they have sadness, happiness, funny and suspense all at the same time, and romance as well.
I would recommend her books to anyone who likes to read terrific, heartwarming books.
This book had enough twists to keep you going. Jill Sanders continues to write about strong interesting men and women. I would like a little less detail in the sex scenes. I think letting readers figure out what is going is like watching a figure behind a transparent curtain, but we can always skim when wanting that.
I loved everything about this book. Jill has a way with writing that really appeals to me. I have read every single book of hers now and have enjoyed every single one of them. They all have there own twist and I love that she writes about all the characters and keeps the story going. I like that she brings old characters back in to the story. The only disappointing part to me is I don't have any others books left to read of Jill's! Keep writing and I can't wait to read your next book.....
I love Jill Sanders her book are always great and this isn't any different. I have to say I wasn't happy about Trent first focusing on Marina because of the bad review that was a put off since I hate lies. But really in the end you couldn't help but love them together especially when Trent is such a great father figure to her nephew. I will also say it was obvious who was causing all the issues at least to me which was a letdown but still the book was amazing, hot, sexy, heartwarming, and emotional
In this book Marina is a food critic who gives a bad review of a restaurant. The owner can't figure out why and request a second review. There are many interesting twists and turns to the plot which lead to a happy ending.
I received this book for free in return for an honest review. I loved this story!! Marina owns a restaurant on a strip that is being bought out by real estate. She doesn't want to sell her restaurant, but business is down due to the changes in buyouts. Trent belongs to the family that wants to buy Marina's place. He goes to do his own research on Marina, and to see if he can get her to sell.

Marina was such a strong female character from the beginning. She has built her business up and kept it going. Her standards for the business, in every factor, are high. Trent is following in his father's footsteps and is doing what he needs to get this property. However, in the process of doing his research, his interest in Marina changes.

The story flows easily and the steam heats up well! I love Jill Sanders! She doesn't fail to deliver!
