I first encountered Roman and Heather in the "Sinister Desires" anthology (which is fantastic by the way). This second book in the Roman trilogy is a bit far fetched, but it IS Fiction, so I read the whole thing through with the same fervor as book 1. I realize I love and hate Roman with equal passion. That roller coaster of emotions is proof, for me, that the author knows how to develop complex and compelling characters. I had questions at the end of the book, though. Did everyone forget that Roman is a sought after serial killer??? What happened to the police investigation to catch Roman??? Did the authorities not see Roman and Heather on television when she was found in jail??? Why are Heather's brothers cooperating with this serial killer for any reason??? There are some holes in the practicalities of the details. I was also very skeptical with some scenes such as the one with the curling iron. Would someone REALLY be able to flee immediately, across state, on foot, in that condition? Nonetheless, I did enjoy the continued twists, turns, and darkness of this story. I will purchase part 3 just because I want to see what happens to Winter Ivy.

This woman is AMAZING. Where to even start???? From word one, she had me sucked in again. I had already made up my mind how I felt about Roman in book 1 and what I wanted to happen. That didn't seem to matter!!! Nope she grab me from the inside and turned everything I thought I wanted into a huge hot mess. At one point I was so mad at this character for lying to me and going back on his promises, but I was gently eased into a different mind set by this amazing author and now I truly don't know if I am coming or going, but I do know for sure that I will be reading book # 3 the second it is released.
One thing I love about is seeing those recommendations pop up. After reading the first book I had to go back for more, this book was steamy, sexual, violent, and domineering never thought I would have liked a book like this. This writer proved me wrong! I was reading at work one day and got sucked in so deep that I had to look around to see who may have been looking. There were high points that had me feeling so slutty and other points were I couldn't understand her love for this prick; however, like real like some things are meant to be understood just respected or accepted.
Kimber is sick and twisted and I love her mind, but I hate it just as much.

Never in my life have I hated 2 word more. The dislike I have for 6 little letters, THE END, is monumental. Normally, I'd want to ask why, but I realize your sick and twisted mind wouldn't tell me. In the end, I have to admit, I love the evil that is Roman William Payne even more now than when I first met him. For the life of me I have no idea why.

This book is dark, so if you want or prefer sweet, don't attempt this. You'll want to run for the hill and pray to God to clean your mind just for looking this way. But if you enjoy the company of the little devil that's parked on everyone of our shoulders, if you like the dark side of the tracks then by all means, go meet Roman.

Kimber is like the Rob Zombie of the book world. That's how I see her. Dark, twisted, and messed the hell up. I'm totally girl crushing on her yet again.

I'm not even sure where to beginning. After reading Roman book 1 I was practically left speechless. Then we move on to Roman's Redemption which is full of twists, turns, lies, and betrayals. We catch up with what happened at the end of Roman and jump right into things. For the most part Roman hasn't changed a bit in the beginning and it is only his daughter's love that starts to pull him back from the edge. We learn more about characters such as his housekeeper, Sebastian, and Lizabeth. We get multiple POVs including Heather's and Roman's. You read this book and you think to yourself how much more can one person take before there is nothing left to take? Roman's Redemption will leave you wanting the rest of the story and luckily there is a third installment to finish this trilogy off. Dark and gritty and full of shock and awe moments, if you're a fan of Kimber than you'll be a fan of this book.
No doubt another hit from author Kimber S Dawn....My mind is going fast way fast right now,i'm blowing smoke to the fact that she did it with Roman's Redemption..OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!what a book 2!!!!!!!Absolutely Magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!!Love it!!!!!!!!!I gave all i have,my soul for this read!!!!!!I was so captivated by it that i had to gave me a break to regroup myself just for so much i was into it and did not want to finish it to fast,I was so hooked,then after my break i got back into and there i was all the way to the end with my mouth wide open...OH!!!!!you nailed it with this series and right now i recommend to anyone but be careful to read the warning cause this ain't for unicorn.....Well,written,well developed.well in everything and the characters,its just WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!Really what a ride i had!!!!!!This was vicious,intense,tension for your nerve,the disturbing situation,way way twisted,sick,violence gritty.intrigue and much more i felt for this book.I love your twisted mind author Kimber and do love your work,You did not disappointed me.....So can't wait to read the next installment but you know the wait is worth it...Again.way WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
